The Final Conference of the “LEarning GenOmics for food safety – LEGO” project will take place on the Institute’s Zoom platform on 20 December 2021, from 8:30 to 11:00.
The event aims to present the results achieved during more than three years of activities.
The LEGO project – funded by the European Erasmus+ programme (Cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practices – Strategic partnerships in higher education) – has first defined and then trained the innovative and interdisciplinary professional figure of the Food Microbial Bioinformatician (FMB). The skills of this new professional profile are now indispensable to respond to the new research challenges in the field of genomics applied to food safety and to meet the changing professional needs expressed by the international labour market.
