Laboratory training course “Surveillance and diagnosis of animal prion diseases”

The ERFAN Secretariat, in collaboration with the WOAH Reference Laboratory for TSE at IZSPLV and the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, organized the Laboratory training course “Surveillance and diagnosis of animal prion diseases”  from the 12 to the 14 of June.

The training course on Surveillance and diagnosis of animal prion diseases, organised by the WOAH Reference Laboratory for TSE, had the purpose to deepen topics related to this disease and to share technical-scientific updates on Epidemiology, surveillance, and Biosafety. Moreover, this will be an opportunity to discuss the experience and contribution of North African Countries.

Participants were from different Institution from North Africa, such as Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco.

The event was a good opportunity for training and sharing knowledge among ERFAN partners.
