The ERFAN Secretariat, in collaboration with the OIE Collaborating Centre for Food Hygiene at the IZSAM, organises the online information day (ID) on “Detection of Klebsiella pneumoniae from different matrices, AMR and NGS”.
The main objective of the ID is to acquire laboratory competencies linked to the detection and characterisation of this pathogen.
The ERFAN ID aims to deepen topics, such as the detection of Klebsiella pneumoniae from different matrices like food, animal and environmental samples; the antimicrobial susceptibility testing for determination of the minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) values of detected strains; Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) procedure and evaluation of data of isolated strains.
