Mozambique – Strengthening Food Systems to Empower Smallholder Farmers and Young People. Call for Expression of Interest
The World Food Programme (WFP) of the United Nations launches a call for Expression of Interest aimed at increasing smallholder famers’ incomes and youth employment opportunities through improved productivity and access to profitable markets.
The WFP is engaged in the global effort to achieve Zero Hunger worldwide. In Mozambique, WFP’s Country Strategic Plan 2017-2021 supports the national Government’s commitment to achieve Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 2 and SDG 17.
Locations covered by eligible actions are: Cabo Delgado and Nampula Provinces.
Sectors and areas of specialization are: food security and market analysis/vulnerability analysis and mapping.
